Intermediate Ukulele - you already know basic chords but want help with more strumming and picking technique - join our class! It’s a great group!

Dear Folk Orchestra of Santa Barbara Patron,
Thank you so much for your support during our very successful 2019 season!
We hope you enjoyed our third season of concerts. As a young arts organization we are so appreciative of our supporters who have seen our potential and encourage our growth. As we announced at our final 2019 concert, we are hoping that, along with your continued support by purchasing tickets, you’ll consider becoming a sponsor of the entire Folk Orchestra.
To that end, we are expanding the ways that you can help sustain the Orchestra and its amazing musicians. Your support will help us grow, help us expand to larger performance spaces, and create a foundation to ensure that the Folk Orchestra becomes a permanent part of the Santa Barbara cultural and musical community. Details of the new packages are available on the next page, but highlights include the chance for PRIVATE CONCERTS, Reserved Seats, and a more personal connection to the Folk Orchestra family. We are happy to answer any questions you have about any of the sponsorship opportunities.
As we grow with your help, you will still enjoy what you have always enjoyed about the Folk Orchestra:
• Innovative and inspiring music from around the world.
• In the Presidio de Santa Barbara, a performance space
that is unique and beautiful.
• A parade of new and fascinating instruments!
• Free rehearsals - THIS YEAR AT CARR WINERY!
• LOCAL musicians bringing their time, talent, and treasure to your ears.
In the near future, we’ll announce our 2020 lineup of concerts, but we can reveal here that the four musical traditions that will be featured are
IRISH, MEDITERRANEAN, NORDIC, and SCOTTISH!
Many thanks from all of our musicians and volunteers, and of course from me personally. May your holiday season be filled with joy and music. As a part of our family, we can assure you that 2020 will certainly be musical as well!
Cheers,
Adam Phillips
Founder/Musical Director
